PORTRAIT PHOTOGRAPHY

This year our Photography Days will run across three days. In the coming weeks, a booking link will be posted here on this site, and we’ll also contact you directly once it’s live. Families will need to book into a time slot for their child’s photos, with limited numbers available in each session. If your child has multiple classes and you’d like photos in each of their costumes, you may need to book into more than one time slot. Please note: it is not compulsory to photograph every costume—feel free to choose your favourites, or take advantage of the opportunity to capture them all.

Our photographer will take 1–2 portraits per child, per costume/class. Private music students are also welcome to have portraits with their instrument. On Friday afternoon only, we will provide a keyboard and drum kit for instrument photos. Students who prefer not to bring their instrument may pose with accessories (e.g. drumsticks), bring their own guitar or simply opt for a standard portrait.

This year there will be no group class photos. All images will be individual only. However, we are offering an additional booking option to purchase extra sessions for sibling or friendship photos, subject to availability.

Hair and makeup are not required for photo day. A neat, pulled-back hairstyle with minimal flyaways is all that’s needed. Makeup is completely optional—stage makeup is designed for theatre lighting, whereas photography is much closer up, so families can decide what feels right for their child.

We hope this new system gives families more flexibility and ensures every student can enjoy a personalised photography experience.
